Library Show

How this Library Magic Show is different

Breaking! Now Booking Summer 2024 tour: “Adventure Begins at Your Library!”

The question isn’t “should I book a magician at my library?” In fact, you should book more than one throughout the year. They’re great draws, and the community will love them. After booking my show, I can connect you to other great acts in the Austin area. But to justify the expense, you’ll need to report why you booked a specific act.

In this case, you’ll be booking a story-telling artist. A former elementary school teacher, a children’s book author, and a published parenting magazine author, literature runs deep in my values. Some libraries have asked me to follow the show with a story reading. I enjoy those so much I don’t charge extra to do so for about 15-30 minutes, assuming my schedule permits. Imagine a hilarious children’s magic show, including a story-time, so wildly entertaining the kids won’t differentiate between the magic show and the story time.

Every summer I offer a themed show based on the Summer reading Program, e.g., 2022 is “Oceans of Possibilities.” But a “generic” magic show plus a book-reading in the middle has a theme in and of itself: reading is genuinely FUN! Ask about those, too, especially if you’re booking a non-summer show. Just select “Booking and Pricing” above.
