Short Description

312 Magic provides interactive magic shows, balloon twisting, and after-school magic lessons for families, schools, libraries, camps, and community events in the Chicago area.

Long Description

312 Magic is the Chicago-area magic and balloon entertainment company of Aaron Fasel, a professional magician, balloon artist, former third grade teacher, and former co-owner and teacher at Austin’s Fantastic Magic Camp. Aaron has been performing for more than thirty-five years and specializes in making magic feel fun, interactive, and welcoming for kids and families. His shows are designed for birthday parties, schools, libraries, camps, park districts, community events, and family-friendly corporate events. In addition to live shows and balloon twisting, Aaron teaches after-school magic classes that help kids build confidence, creativity, and presentation skills while learning magic they can perform for friends and family.

Background

Aaron Fasel is based in Chicago and has been performing magic for more than thirty-five years. He was formerly based in Austin, Texas, where he was one of the co-owners and teachers at Fantastic Magic Camp. He is also a former third grade teacher, which helps explain why his shows are especially strong with kids, families, and school audiences.

Suggested Lines

Aaron has an unusually empathetic relationship with the elementary and pre-k set, and in fact was once a public elementary school teacher in Texas.
Aaron is unabashedly a children’s entertainer. He is never condescending, although invariably has a handful of over-the-head comments and jokes for the adults involved.
A magician, a balloon twister, and easy on the eyes, Aaron is a triple-threat.
A competitive punner, some people call his humor dad-joke humor. His jokes are exactly the style of humor that elementary kids love, but is never crude.

Client Quotes

“Aaron is AMAZING! … He is not only an amazing magician, he is a wizard with the kids as well!! … He is funny, smooth, and crowd appropriate.”
“The kids and grown-ups all loved the performance and the balloon animals were a total bonus at the end! Highly recommend Aaron!”
“[Aaron’s] energy was contagious and there was a lot of laughter. The adults enjoyed the show just as much as the kids did. Reflecting his level of talent and professionalism, Aaron proactively managed several moments of disruptive high energy from an excited audience member with grace and kindness in a way that didn't interfere with the show.”
“The kids were immediately crowded around him ready to see his show. He was funny, interactive and made them all so happy with his very fun balloon animals. Great magician, comedian, entertainer and extremely reliable!”
